Currently I am working on two short-films. The first is called Promise and is the story of a young boy and his poetry. The other is about depression. Both films are narrative (fiction) films. Actually, I started filming Promise while in India recently but had to stop as language (the young boy was Tibetan) was causing issues. I plan to rewrite this short to take place in the West.
I also make documentary films. My first film was called Saving Zanskar, and was a film about a Tibetan monk by the name of Geshe Yonten and the children he cares for.
It is a great story, and one I am proud to have made.
I have an idea for a feature that I would like to direct one day. Whether or not this screenplay ever sees the light of day is besides the point. Filmmaking is a tremendous vehicle to communicate, and so I hope I can continue to do just that in whatever form it takes.
